I’m excited to announce I’ll be doing my first IG giveaway.
Head over to my profile and follow me for a chance to win the new Morphe 35H palette (picture from Ulta’s website)
I’m suffering from a bit of insomnia so I decided to swatch a random palette.
The mattes were mostly soft and pigmented and the shimmers were buttery.
The purples and olive greens were the hardest to build up.
These swatches are several swipes to really show the color of the shadows.
I was definitely a little scared of the colors when I got the Mini Jawbreaker palette, especially Hot Fudge which was the only brown but it was a cool brown, I don’t do well with cool tones, but I was determined to use it!
I wanted to try the purples but, it’s red shirt Friday so I went with this to avoid clashing.
The formula is amazing, as always. The shimmer packed such a punch when I applied it with a wet brush and it has a beautiful shift of orange in it.
Given the cool toned brown I knew I’d have to pair it with a browner lipstick and Colourpop Grundge was the perfect tone!
I can’t wait to use this more and to dig into those purples!
And for some reason, when I opened up the palette and saw the cool toned brown and bright orange my mind instantly went to Converse! I’m sure the star played a part of it too

I’m still going strong with sticking to a handful of palettes I selected for the month and, fortunately, I selected one that fit in perfect for today’s theme.
I decided to shop my stash and only use products I’ve had for a while but haven’t touched. Here’s what I used
Overall I’m happy with my look and I’m glad I got to use old products I used to love
Here are the colors I used from the palette
Quick walk through of today’s look
#1 In crease to brow
#2 Lower in crease to darken, back and forth across entire lid length
#3 In outer crease area bringing it inward and on outer corner of lid
#4 Combine with small loose brush to darken just the outer
#5 Lid color topped with #6
When colourpop announced their Disney collaboration I was over the moon. I love makeup and I love Disney! I got up early this morning and decided it would be a great day to go to Disneyland so I donned a pair of minnie ears, threw on Colourpop Jasmin lux lipstick and had a merry time! This is a little more dry than their creme formula but it isn’t matte drying and lasts all day with minor touch-up!
As an added bonus, I love that this shade brings out the color in my face
I never thought I’d pay $129 for an eyeshadow palette (and technically I didn’t thanks to my sephora reward) but having using this palette twice now I have come to fully appreciate it!
The colors are vibrant and a so easy to blend. I rarely go without brown eyeshadow or something to “darken” my look but this combination of just the reds and the golds was too perfect to add anything else.
I would definitely recommend the Natasha Denona Sunset palette!
