Kiss Impress Press On Nails

In the past I’ve used press on nails with varying results.

In general, I don’t get my nails done but during lock down I started making time to paint my nails. The thing is, I hate the process of painting my nails, removing the nail polish and painting them again.

I’ve been toying with the idea of using press on nails again so when I received this package I was excited to see it came with a few options.

I thought about waiting until we get back from our vacation but I realized, this is when people get their nails done right? So here we go.

The pack comes with 30 indivual nails to help ensure you have nails that fit your own nails.

I went with the shorter dusty rose imPress nails. These come “pre-glued”, you pull the protective piece off the back of the nail and press onto your nail.

I was able to find nails that fit my own pretty easily and applying them was also easy. I should add, I clipped my nails short and I used the prep wipe provided in the pack.

I’m not 100% convinced the press glue will hold, and I’ll probably pack a backup glue and nail polish for emergencies.

My biggest concerns are index finger because my nails grow at a curve so there’s less surface area to grab onto.

One this I wish would be included with the pack is a way of filling the gaps between the press on nail and your own nail.

I’m not sure what this would be, maybe glue or something in a tube that could be applied between the gaps.

I used the mini file provided to file down the little tab that’s on the tips of some of the nails and to shape them more to my liking.

Overall I’m happy with the look of the nails and the application process.

I still try to provide an update here in the stories section and /or on my Instagram.
