I can’t remember when it was but, I purchased the Colourpop “Is This Real Life” Super Shock Shadow vault when it first released. First, because I’m a sucker for vaults and second, I really enjoy the formula. However, because it was a “limited edition” release (it’s since been abatible two or three times again) I hadn’t really touched the set.
For reasons we won’t speak of (oops), I finally started using the SSS in this collection
For the eyes I used: Colourpop Candy Castle – Rainbow trail in the crease as the first color and Lord Licorice to blend after I applied the SSS
From the vault I used Left on Thread and Take me Higher SSS
I was impressed that even after so long the SSS were creamy and color rich.
Have you tried the formula? What are your thoughts?
Do you have a certain makeup item you don’t use out of fear of using it up?
I told myself I didn’t need or want this palette but here we are.
I personally love most of Morphe’s palettes and this one is no exception. Even though it is much cooler toned than I’m used to, I still find this easy to use and combine colors with.

When I started my blog I started with the intent of using it to list everything I used on my face in case anyone was interested. Then I realized how time consuming it is and didn’t do it, lol. Now that I have more time I figure I’ll give it a go and try to establish a habit.

This is the third time I’ve used this palette and each time I love the formula, colors and ease of use so much.
This time I stuck to a purple look instead of pink.
Commitment is a dark purple with shimmer that is perfect for depending a color. It is a very soft formula, I accidentally tapped my flat definer brush too hard and I took a chunk out of the shade. The formula is like a Colourpop super shock shadow so you need to pack it in then blend.
I’ve also been using the Tati Beauty Blendiful for the last week or so and I’m really enjoying being able to do all my face makeup (minus blush) with one tool.
If you’re interested in seeing how I use the blendiful check out my video on Instagram.com/asquard 💙
There are some brands I don’t mind paying extra for, while there are others I’m not very inspired by.
I was happy to see Huda Beauty had a 50% off sale and snagged The New Nude palette. I was interested in the moldy looking shades (not moldy just patches of white); they blend beautifully and are great shimmers.
The mattes where also pigmented and easy to blend as well. There was quite a bit of kickback but I personally don’t mind that.
